PART B: NOTICE TO BUSINESS CUSTOMERS (SAAS PLATFORM)

This section applies specifically to veterinary clinics, pet transport services, and other commercial partners (“Business Customers”) who utilize Kruiz’s B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform to manage client and pet records.

Kruiz as a Data Processor: When a Business Customer inputs their clients’ personal information (Human PII) and pet medical records into the Kruiz platform, the Business Customer acts as the “Data Controller,” and Kruiz acts as the “Data Processor.” We only process this “Customer Data” to provide the SaaS services, fulfill our contractual obligations, and as instructed by the Business Customer.

Information We Collect from Business Customers:

  • Account & Billing Data: Administrator names, clinic addresses, contact details, and payment information required to manage your SaaS subscription.

  • Service Data & Logs: Technical usage information, IP addresses, and system activity logs to ensure platform security, troubleshoot bugs, and improve system performance.

  • Client & Patient Data: Pet health certificates, vaccination records, and associated human owner PII (Name, Address, Phone, Email) inputted by the clinic.

Data Retention and Regulatory Compliance (The 5-Year Archive): To assist our Business Customers in complying with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations and state veterinary medical board requirements, Kruiz maintains a secure, 5-year soft-delete archive of pet health and travel certificates. When a Business Customer “deletes” a record within their dashboard, the record is removed from active view but securely retained in an encrypted state for up to 5 years to satisfy legal audit requirements, after which it is permanently destroyed.

End-User Privacy Rights: If you are a pet owner whose data was inputted into Kruiz by your veterinary clinic, any requests to access, correct, or delete your personal information under the CCPA, GDPR, or other privacy laws must be directed to your veterinary clinic (the Data Controller). Kruiz will assist the clinic in fulfilling these legal requests securely.
